Leave the stress of preparing a holiday feast behind by dining at one of these Portland restaurants. Here’s a list of local and chain restaurants open on Christmas Eve, Thursday, December 24, and Christmas Day, Friday, December 25, 2020.

Most of Portland’s restaurants are not open for dine-in at this time. The list below has been updated with takeout options. For more information, check out my list of holiday meals to go.

For the restaurants that are open, I highly recommend making reservations. Keep in mind that these locations have limited patio seating due to current restrictions.

Elephants Delicatessen

Choose between a smoked ham or turkey dinner package for 6 people starting at $140. Christmas orders are available for pick up or delivery December 22-24. Orders must be placed by December 18 at 2 p.m.

Cascade Grill

Get single serving, pre-cooked meals for $27.95 for adults and $15.95 for kids 10 and under. They also have a special price for CDL truck drivers. Call to reserve your meal. Designate a pick-up time and pay upon pick up. Pick up will be available on December 25 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Delivery will be available for an additional charge via GrubHub.

Dutch Bros

Serving all of its delicious beverages. Order a Christmas Morning from the Secret Menu. See your favorite location for specific hours.

Grand Central Bakery

Fulfills your pie, cookie and bread needs for the holiday. Order online or in person through December 24. Same-day delivery available through 2 p.m. daily. Open 8 a.m.-3 p.m. on Christmas Eve.

Jake’s Grill

The prime rib holiday feast to go is priced at $135 and serves 3-4 people. Available for pick up on December 24 from 12-4 p.m. or December 25 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Final order deadline Monday, December 21 at 4 p.m.

Radio Room

Open Christmas Eve and Day, and will be serving a Christmas brunch and dinner specials from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m.

Shari’s

Shari’s has holiday meals to go starting at $79.99 for 4-6 people. Choose between turkey, ham and larger serving sizes. You can schedule your order for pick up whatever day and time works best for you, during open hours.

Stickmen Brewing Company

Christmas dinner packages serving 2 start at $40. Choose between smoked pork loin and smoked NY strip loin. Options that serve 4 people are also available. Pick up days will be Wednesday, December 23 from noon to 7 p.m. and Thursday, December 24 from noon to 5 p.m.

Cracker Barrel

To-go ham dinners serving 4-6 people start at $89.99. Orders are available for pickup December 21-28. Receive a free $5 Bonus Card (valid 1/1-2/28/21) when you schedule your pick up December 22 or 23. 24-hour notice is required for orders. Pies are also available for an additional $11.49.

Denny’s

Open for regular hours on Christmas Eve and Day.

IHOP

Open for regular hours on Christmas Eve and Day. They are also offering a holiday family feast that serves 4 people for $34.99. Only available for delivery and pick up.

Fogo de Chao

The Portland location will be serving from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Christmas Eve and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Christmas day. They are offering patio seating only.

You can also opt for a holiday to-go packages for 6 people starting at $130. For Christmas Day, order by December 23. Orders must be picked up before 10 a.m. on Christmas Day. This holiday meal is available through January 1, 2021.
